Our independent living housing program is designed to provide residents with a safe and supportive environment as they work toward greater independence. While we do not provide addiction recovery or employment services directly, we help connect residents with trusted community resources and programs that offer recovery support, job readiness, employment skills development, and other services to help them build a strong foundation for long-term success.

Basic Intake Criteria

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be clean from substances for at least 72 hours prior to intake
  • Must be looking for work or currently working
  • Willing to follow all house rules, curfews, and program guidelines
  • Committed to attending regular 12-step or recovery support meetings if applicable
  • No history of violence or sexual offenses
  • Prepared to commit to a minimum 90-day stay

How long is the program?+

Our program has a 90-day minimum commitment, with the option to stay longer based on individual progress and goals.

What are the requirements to move in?+

Residents must have a minimum of 72 hours of sobriety, a willingness to follow house rules, and commit to participating in recovery activities.

Is the home substance-free?+

Yes. SGE Recovery Home is a fully substance-free environment with random drug and alcohol testing to maintain accountability.

Do you accept insurance?+

Can I have visitors?+

Yes, visitors are welcome during designated visiting hours after an initial orientation period.
